Today, I flew my white flag. I gave in. The kids have actually been playing together, quietly, all day. So why not let it continue? Does it make a difference that they have emptied the toy boxes, are sitting in them, and tossing toys from box to box. When they run out of toys, they get out, get a handful and get back in. Nathan tosses them in Emersen's box, she says she has enough and tosses them over her shoulder. They have repeated this behavior after I cleaned up the living room two times. So, I asked myself, "What's the harm in a little mess?"
So, I flew my white flag, threw in the towel, however you want to say it. I sat back, washed my dishes and my laundry, and listened to the almost peace and quiet.
